How it works
Tag it, tap it, found.
An NFC tag holds a single web address. When a phone taps it, that page opens. tapitfindit puts your item’s page behind that tap, and lets you decide what it shows. Setting everything up is free; a plan makes your tag links live so a finder can reach you.
Create a tag
Sign up and create a tag for an item. Each tag gets a unique, unguessable URL like tapitfindit.com/t/9Ak. Give it a name you will recognise, such as “Cabin bag”.
Write it to an NFC sticker
Using the tapitfindit iPhone app, hold a blank NFC sticker near the top of your phone and write the URL to it. The dashboard also shows a QR code you can print as a fallback.
Fill in the details, set what is public
Add the item name, your phone, email, address, and an optional note. Each field has a public or private toggle, so a finder reaches you through the contact form without seeing your private fields. On Premium you can add a photo too.
Travelling? Set up a Trip
On Premium, save your trip once, your dates, flights and hotel, and every tag set to use the active trip shows those details. Update it in one place instead of editing each bag.
A finder taps, you get notified
Any modern iPhone or Android reads the tag on tap and opens the page. The moment it is scanned you get an email, and a push notification if you use the app, naming the exact item and showing any message the finder left.
